The New Vehicle Limited Warranty period for repairs is four (4) years or 50,000 miles (from warranty start date), whichever occurs first*.

Volvo Customer Lifetime Parts and Labor Warranty

The Customer Lifetime Parts and Labor Warranty is available to any retail customer who purchases an eligible genuine part and has it installed at an Volvo Cars authorized retailer. For items covered by this warranty, pay for a repair once and never pay for it again.**

Volvo Genuine Accessories Warranty

Genuine Volvo accessories purchased and installed by a Volvo retailer at the time of a new vehicle purchase are covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty for four (4) years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. If a Volvo approved accessory is installed by a Volvo retailer after a new vehicle purchase the coverage is two (2) years from the date of installation or the remainder of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever is longer. Accessories purchased but not installed by a Volvo retailer will be covered for a period of two (2) years from the date the part was originally purchased.***

*Volvo Car USA LLC as applicable warrants that repairs required to Volvo passenger vehicles due to defects in material or workmanship and occurring under normal use will be made at no charge for parts and/or labor during the warranty period. See a Volvo Cars authorized retailer for full warranty terms and conditions.
**The Customer Lifetime Parts and Labor Warranty does not apply to third party purchasers such as independent repair shops, body shops or on parts purchased over the counter and not installed by a Volvo Cars authorized retailer. The warranty on these parts will be for two years from the purchase date for defects for the part replacement only. Labor will not be included. Part failures due to installation errors will not be covered by any Volvo Part Warranty. This warranty does not cover accessories, items or consumables. See a Volvo Cars authorized retailer for full warranty terms and conditions.
***If a Volvo-approved accessory is purchased and installed by a Volvo Cars authorized retailer as part of your new vehicle purchase, the warranty period is four (4) years or 50,000 miles whichever occurs first. The warranty period will start and run concurrently with the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. If a Volvo- approved accessory is installed by a Volvo Cars authorized retailer after your new vehicle purchase, it will be warranted for the balance of your New Vehicle Limited Warranty period, or for a period of two (2) years from the date of installation, whichever is longer. Accessories purchased but not installed by a Volvo Cars authorized retailer will be covered for a period of two (2) years from the date the part was originally purchased. Some genuine Volvo parts/accessories are covered by their own specific limited warranty for a different period. For those parts/accessories, the applicable warranty is supplied at the time of purchase, including a list of conditions and limitations.
